Les talibans criminels sont revenus au pouvoir grâce au soutien des États capitalistes. L’accord entre les États-Unis et les talibans (signé le 29 février 2020 au Qatar – ndlr) n’avait d’autre but que la mise en place de « l’Émirat islamique » (l’État taliban – ndlr). Il a montré la réalité des objectifs de la bourgeoisie mondiale et de son intervention impérialiste au nom de la « démocratie ». L’effondrement en quelques jours du gouvernement fantoche d’Ashraf Ghani  dans lequel les États-Unis et leurs alliés ont sans doute joué un rôle majeur, puis le retour des talibans au pouvoir ont réalisé le scénario de l’établissement de « l’Émirat islamique ». Dans les relations internationales capitalistes, le remplacement d’un pouvoir par un autre (de même nature même si ses formes sont différentes), en fonction des besoins et des intérêts du capital, n’est pas une nouveauté. In October 2001, in the name of the so-called « war on terror, » the United States and an international coalition bombed Afghanistan, drove out the Taliban, and installed a puppet regime that survived only thanks to U.S./NATO occupation troops. At the height of the war, 120,000 U.S. troops were deployed in Afghanistan, with heavy reliance on mercenaries from Blackwater and other private contractor firms.  What was the result? The longest-ever foreign military intervention by the United States left more than 241,000 Afghan civilians dead, 2,442 U.S. troops dead (and 20,666 wounded), and more than 2 million internal and external Afghan refugees. The total cost of the war to the United States is estimated at $2.3 trillion.
