Hands off Venezuela! No to foreign interference!

The International Workers Committee has made the call for peace from Brazilian organizations known throughout the world. In Paris, France, on Wednesday 9 August, a picket was organized in front of the Venezuelan Embassy, at the initiative of the POID (the Independent and Democratic Workers Party). In the United States, a campaign of signatures of support has been undertaken. Messages have poured in, from the USPT (the Progressive Trade Union of Workers) of Niger, from Ecuador, from Mexico (with a special supplement of the news bulletin Transicion) and, as you will read on this page, from the LRA (the Radical Left) of Afghanistan. El Comité Obrero Internacional dio a conocer en todo el mundo el llamado por la paz de las organizaciones brasileñas. En París (Francia), el miércoles 9 de agosto se organizó un agrupamiento frente a la embajada de Venezuela a iniciativa del POID. En los Estados Unidos, se inició una campaña de firmas de apoyo. Están llegando mensajes como el de la Unión sindical progresista de los trabajadores (USPT), de Nigeria, de Ecuador, de México (con la edición de un suplemento especial del boletín Transición), o cómo se leerá a continuación, de la LRA (Izquierda Radical de Afganistán). Le Comité ouvrier international a fait connaître dans le monde entier l’appel pour la paix des organisations brésiliennes. À Paris (France), mercredi 9 août, un rassemblement s’est tenu devant l’ambassade du Venezuela à l’initiative du POID. Aux États-Unis, une campagne de signatures de soutien est engagée.
