Biden continues funding the genocide

No one is surprised any more: the Israeli bombardment of Gaza has caused the deaths of one hundred and eight journalists. Most of these killings were deliberate, according to an investigation by twelve international media, including the daily Le Monde, which no one suspects of being hostile to Israel.

No one is surprised any more: the International Committee of the Red Cross denounced the attack on one of its refugee camps in El-Mawasi on 21 June: at least twenty-five dead, reduced to ashes by « fireballs » hitting the refugees in their makeshift shelters, according to survivors.

No one is surprised any more… but that doesn’t change the fact that the Biden administration has just got Congress to approve a new arms deal worth 18 billion dollars, including fifty F-15 fighter jets. The Washington Post (17 June) headlines that Biden has won the support of Republican congressmen, as well as « top Democrats (who) approved a major arms sale to Israel, including F-15 fighter jets ». The term « sale » is debatable, since everything will be paid for by the American taxpayer.

That was all it took to encourage Netanyahu: on 23 June, he indicated his next objectives. In addition to continuing the genocide in Gaza and the expulsion of the Palestinian people from the West Bank he announced that, as soon as he had the « opportunity to transfer some of our forces to the north (…), we will do so ». Next target: Lebanon.
